Now that you have graduated from high school and earned the ECMC Scholars Program scholarship, here’s how you can use the funds.
ECMC Scholars who have graduated from high school and earned the scholarship will begin to request funds “as needed” within the next six years. Freshman students may only claim up to $4,000 the first year in college. For example, some students submit a disbursement request for $2,000 fall term and then submit another disbursement of $2,000 for the spring term.
Scholarship funds may be used on educational expenses up to the cost of attendance for the term for which you are requesting, such as tuition, fees, housing, room and board, books, transportation, personal expenses, etc.
Note: The disbursement process may take up to 30 days and you will want to request a disbursement in advance of any payment due dates at your institution.
